Gold - represents God’s Glory & Promise

Revelation 21:21 - The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

   

Black - represents sin that separates people from their holy creator, God.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

   

Red - represents the blood that Jesus shed in his death on the cross to pay for our sins

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

   

White - represents the fact that If we accept Jesus and turn from our sins, our hearts are made clean

John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

   

Green - After believing and receiving what Jesus did we need to grow in our relationship with Him by reading the Bible, praying,and attending a church where the Bible is taught

G- go to God in prayer
R- read the Bible
O- obey God, parents, teachers
W- witness, tell others about Jesus

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
